one beer prophet is a one-woman (with the possibility to add other members in the future) folk/punk/americana/etc. - the sound of folk & americana, with the spirit of punk - band currently based outta beer city. she plays accordion, concertina, piano, guitar, & sundry other instruments. she writes songs about crushes, heartbreak, drinkin, travel, ghosts, and trains, among other things. she is currently recording her first album, to be titled cuttin' up jackpots.

if you're interested in joining the band and you live in the southeastern wisconsin/northeastern illinois area, please contact me! i'm looking for a drummer/percussionist, bassist, and guitarist, but other instruments that would be great include: violin, cello, washboard, ukulele, mandolin, and anything unusual.
